Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: June 10, 2026

The short version

Some links on WildwoodHotels.ai are affiliate links. If you click one and complete a booking, we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. Our AI hotel rankings are never influenced by affiliate relationships.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a booking platform (like Booking.com or Expedia) that a visitor came from our site. When you complete a booking after clicking one of these links, we receive a percentage of the booking value as a referral fee. The price you pay is identical to booking directly — the commission comes from the platform, not from you.

Our affiliate partnerships

WildwoodHotels.ai participates in the following affiliate programs:

Expedia & Hotels.com (Expedia Creator Program)

We are a member of the Expedia Group Travel Creator Program. Both Expedia and Hotels.com affiliate links are generated through this program. Commission is earned on Qualifying Transactions — Consumed Verified Transactions for CPA placements — when visitors complete hotel or package bookings through our links. Cookie validity and commission rates are set per the Expedia Creator program terms. Commission disputes must be raised within 90 days of receipt.

VRBO (via CJ Affiliate)

VRBO vacation rental links participate in the VRBO affiliate program on Commission Junction (CJ). This is a separate program from the Expedia Creator Program. Commission is based on the Net Rental Amount for qualifying bookings completed through our VRBO links.

Booking.com (via CJ Affiliate)

Commission earned when visitors complete a qualified hotel or vacation rental booking through our Booking.com affiliate links. Commission is based on the net booking value after the stay is completed (materialized transaction), as governed by the Booking.com affiliate program on Commission Junction.

Trivago (via FlexOffers)

We include Trivago rate-comparison links to help you compare hotel prices across platforms. Compensation is governed by the Trivago affiliate program terms as administered through FlexOffers. Clicking a Trivago link routes you to Trivago's search results, where standard Trivago pricing and booking terms apply.

Travelpayouts

This site participates in the Travelpayouts affiliate network. Travelpayouts tracking is loaded site-wide and enables referral attribution for partners including Booking.com, Agoda, and others in their network. We may earn a commission when you book through links tracked by Travelpayouts at no additional cost to you.

How affiliate links appear on our site

Affiliate links appear in the following places:

  • The “Compare Rates & Book” button row on every hotel detail page (Booking.com, Hotels.com, Expedia, Trivago)
  • Booking call-to-action buttons on city pages and search results
  • Vacation rental bridge pages (VRBO, Booking.com)

These links are marked with rel="sponsored" in accordance with Google's guidelines.

Our rankings are independent

Our AI hotel rankings are generated by an algorithm that scores hotels on factors including guest ratings, beachfront proximity (GPS-verified), amenities, price tier, and review count. Affiliate relationships have zero influence on hotel rankings. A hotel does not rank higher because it generates more commission revenue. We show all affiliate platforms equally regardless of commission rates.

We believe honest, data-driven rankings are the product — that's what keeps users coming back. Skewing results for commission would undermine the entire value of the site.

FTC compliance

This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255) and the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising. We disclose affiliate relationships because we believe in full transparency with our users.
