Best spots to watch the sunrise or sunset in Wildwood?

Any stretch of beach works for sunrise since you're facing east over the Atlantic. Less-crowded spots are north of the boardwalk in North Wildwood, or south of the main boardwalk in Wildwood Crest. Bring a coffee and watch the fishing boats head out — it's lovely.

Sunset is over the bay, not the ocean (Wildwood faces east). For sunset, go to the bayside area off New Jersey Ave — you get beautiful bay sunsets over the meadows. Most visitors miss this completely.
