Officially, no open alcohol on the Wildwood beach — it's against city ordinance. That said, people use koozies and non-transparent cups and nobody bothers them in most situations. The beach patrol focuses more on safety (rip currents, waves) than policing adult beverages. Just be discreet and don't be obnoxious about it.

The bars and restaurants along the boardwalk are legally allowed to serve. There are also rooftop bars at some hotels. Those are the safest options if you want a legal drink near the beach.
