Golf cart and bike rentals on the Wildwood boardwalk — worth doing?

The surrey bikes and golf carts are really fun for a couple hours. Not the most efficient way to get around (the tram car is faster and cheaper) but it's a great activity in itself. Families with young kids especially love it. Rent early morning when the boardwalk is quiet — it's perfect.
