I'm in NYC and don't have a car. Is it feasible to get to Wildwood by bus or train?

NJ Transit runs buses to Wildwood from Cape May Transportation Center, and there's bus service from Philadelphia. From NYC, the easiest route is: NJ Transit train to Philly 30th St, then Cape May Lewis Ferry or direct bus. It's doable but adds 1-2 hours vs driving. Once in Wildwood, you can get around by tram car and walking — no car needed in the tourist zone.

Cape May-Lewes Ferry is a fun experience too if you're coming from the Delaware direction. Kids love it. Adds time but is part of the trip.
