Is the Wildwood boardwalk safe at night?

It's generally fine during peak season with crowds. Like any boardwalk there are occasional incidents but it's a family destination overall. Stick to the main drag, avoid empty ends after midnight.

I've been going 20 years. The main Wildwood boardwalk near Morey's is very well-lit and crowded until 11pm-midnight. Wildwood Crest has no boardwalk and is very quiet at night.
