Sand toys (dollar store buckets/shovels). Baby powder to remove sand - it works! Portable fan for nap time. Tide chart so you know when water is shallow enough for a toddler.

Beach wagon - absolute must with a toddler. SPF 50+ reef-safe sunscreen. Shade tent/canopy. Change of clothes for the whole family because everyone gets wet and sandy.
