Realistic budget for a 4-night Wildwood family vacation (family of 4)?

Rough budget for 4 nights, family of 4 in July: Hotel $600-900 (mid-range), Food $300-500 (mix of cooking and eating out), Activities/Boardwalk $200-400, Misc $100-150. Total: $1,200-$1,950. Big swing on activities depending on how much Morey's you do. The free beach helps a lot.

Book a room with a kitchenette and do breakfast and lunch in the room. That cuts food costs to $150-200 for the trip. Stop at ShopRite on the way in for groceries. Dinner out every night is plenty.
